WordPress forum with SEO

I have a wordpress website. I would really like to install some kind of Q&A forum where users can submit questions and get answers, achieve points, etc. (much like Yahoo answers…or even here!). Using PR Web for client new releases

I am wanting to get more news out about some attorney clients and provide mechanism for back links. I have one attorney client who just got a large award on a new issue and another who just had a case made as a precedent. Obviously, both are big deals in the legal community and potentially to new clients.

I read yesterday that PR Web was hit a bit in latest Panda and wanted feedback from those who have used it as to efficacy and thoughts on Panda reasons.

Is WordPress bad for SEO? – Edmonton Web

Hello,

I have a site called www.edmontonweb.ca

It is running on WordPress. I have installed Yoast and a component to enable database caching and decrease ttfb. So far the website is performing well, but not on the first page of Google yet. Through webmaster tools, the site is showing fairly bad scores through the Google speed test.

In your experience, are there disadvantages to running WordPress from an seo standpoint?

Is there a specific hosting service that you would recommend to improve the performance of this site?

Google Display Help – Showing main categories? (Using WordPress and Yoast SEO)

I was looking over my website’s search results and have no clue on how to make it appear on the front page of Google with the different sections displaying underneath.

I attached a picture of Amazon’s search results and mine. I am the top hit when searching “Living the College Life” since that is my websites name and would like to have different important pages/categories underneath.

We are using wordpress and have Yoast SEO plugin installed where he allows you to rank each page. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.
